Executive Coach

 is

What is coaching, and why should it matter to you?

The What

As defined by the International Coach Federation (ICF), coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. A professional coaching relationship exists when coaching includes a business agreement or contract that defines the responsibilities of each party. An ICF Professional Coach agrees to practice the ICF Professional Core Competencies and pledges accountability to the ICF Code of Ethics.

The Why

One-on-one coaching, with its intense but mindful focus on solutions and action steps, has been proven to rapidly accelerate a person's development and effectiveness. It is often the missing link between training and execution! For a deeper dive into why you or your organization should consider executive coaching, consult books such as Measuring the Success of Coaching and Measuring Leadership Development (Phillips) and Coaching That Counts (Anderson).

My Approach

As your executive coach I fully trust that you, the client, possess everything you need to find and implement a solution. I am privileged to help you and pleased to share my ideas, tools and resources; but I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are fully capable. I am confident not just in my own ability but in your ability.

My coaching practice is centered in the Assess, Collaborate, Execute (A.C.E.) model ™ based on my book of the same title, as I partner with clients to help them grow in awareness, discover solutions and implement action steps that garner stronger results and enhance satisfaction. In addition, my journey with you is mindful of life's four key spheres of engagement: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual (P.I.E.S.).

My Credentials

I have worked with professionals at every level of leadership, and have a specific focus on health care, business and higher education leaders who feel "stuck" and want fresh approaches for greater success. This core clientele focus dovetails with my passion for holistic health, sustainable job growth and innovative learning delivery models, respectively.

My credentials include Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through ICF; Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI); Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Development Dimensions International (DDI); and The Gallup Organization’s StrengthsFinder. I have earned a graduate-level Certificate in Executive & Professional Coaching through the University of Texas at Dallas as well.

My work involves partnering with senior leaders to develop comprehensive goals, strategies and tactics that support operational execution and create a framework for linking talent development to business results. I create and facilitate leadership training as well.

Previously, I held a similar position with the 6,000-employee Health First Inc. of Central Florida, a health care system featuring three hospitals, a health insurance unit, dozens of physician offices and numerous fitness and ancillary services. I partnered with physicians, executive, nursing directors and managers on a daily basis to help develop strategies and improve leadership competencies. I've also delivered keynotes and workshops to numerous organizations.
